I. Introducing Our Company
Nieto Land Surveying, LLC is a MBE certified land surveying company in Longwood, FL. We expect respect, honesty, precision, correct, and a reliable work ethic. Collectively, we have over 30 years of excellent surveying in civil, commercial, and residential properties in Orange, Seminole, Lake, and Volusia counties. This job is physically demanding as almost all work is done outside. We provide on-the-job mentoring for skill development and support educational opportunities with select tuition reimbursement. We encourage those interested in obtaining their professional surveying license as we see great opportunities for up-and-coming surveyors in the future.
II. Benefits.

After successfully completing 90 days of probationary employment, the employee is qualified for additional benefits not limited to vacation, and PTO. III. Daily/Weekly Tasks.
Employees at this level perform tasks that require the use of technology including Microsoft Office, Outlook for emails, 2023 Carlson Civil Survey, and other specific instruments used in surveying. They must have a working knowledge of methods used to produce ALTA Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographical Surveys, Development Plats, Construction Layouts, and other related survey products. Attendance at our safety meetings is a must. Compliance with the DOT Safety regulations is required for continuing employment. Tasks are assigned by the employee’s supervisor, Project Manager, and company CEO. Employees in this job position are personally responsible for keeping track of meeting schedules, tracking time on tasks by project, communication details in a courteous and effective manner when speaking with other company employees and customers.
IV. Acceptable Minimum Attributes of Candidates.
Double underlined items must be physically provided by the candidate before the first day of work.
· Must show evidence of U.S. Citizenship and be approved from filing an I-9 form with DHS.
· Seeking a full time (40 hours) per week position.
· Produce evidence of holding a High School or GED diploma.
· Show proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
· Show a valid class E or higher Florida Driver's License.
· Must show a history of leadership qualities as substantiated by letters of reference.
· Must provide their own reliable transportation to and from work.
· Must be free of pending criminal charges, and open legal cases. Must passes a criminal
background check for some site work locations. Work on school grounds requires a Level II background check to meet the Jessica Lungsford Act effective September 1, 2005.
· Complete methodical step-by-step procedures when asked to perform the sequential technical tasks as listed in this document under “Daily/Weekly Tasks”
· Demonstrate behavioral traits of a process-oriented, analytical person who typically approaches a problem methodically with mindfulness and precision when recording data whether by hand or data entry.
· Demonstrate the ability to consistently follow a given process in labelling and saving data files/folders
on a computer hard drive, flash drive or data collector.
· Fit the company culture and work ethic by demonstrating honesty, respectfulness, precision,
correctness, and reliability in all manners of work.
