The Survey Party Chief will be responsible for managing field surveying workflow and procedure as well as managing other field survey crew members, assisting the Survey Dept. Manager as needed and providing accurate surveying techniques and notes to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, map making, land division, titles, or other purposes. Experience, skills, and qualifications include:
- Boundary, topographic, route location, water and waste-water surveying experience required
- Knowledge of conventional and GPS surveying technologies, methods, and software required
- Topcon and/or Trimble Surveying equipment, AutoCAD Civil 3d and/or Carlson Survey products experience a plus
- Ability to work outside independently or with a field crew required
- Valid driver's license and travel required
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
