Professional Land Surveyor Job Summary: Coordinate and oversee the review and delivery of multiple Land Survey projects including ALTA/NSPS Land Title and DOT Surveys. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: - Perform detailed research at town, county and state levels and request 811 Design Tickets. - Perform boundary, easement, deed and title review. - Works with title and utility companies, as well as local governments to assist with approval of projects. - Perform detailed ALTA/NSPS, boundary and topographic surveys. - Preparation of field assignments and scheduling crews; coordinate with clients and contractors on scheduling for stakeouts, etc. - Process client and contractor requests for land surveys and construction stakeouts. - Coordinate with the engineering department to prepare work orders. - Maintain and adhere to QA/QC procedures/note taking and maintaining office and field project material. - Prepare legal descriptions. - Performs record search at recorders offices and government entities. - Sign and seal ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys. - Performs other related duties, as assigned. - Required Skills/Abilities: - Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor Intern (LSI) - Proficient with AutoCad Civil 3D - Field and office experience - Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License - Licensed PLS in Oklahoma - ODOT Roadway experience valuable - Minimum of 5 years’ experience Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer This position is considered a safety sensitive position and will be subject to all State and Federal regulations as such.
